A Super Easy Shabby Chic diy
Re-purpose Your Baby’s Formula Cans!
Baby’s go through many… many cans of formula! So, what do you do with the empty can other than throw it into the recycle bin? Re-purpose it! This is a super cute, shabby chic DIY! This literally only takes roughly 10-15 minutes of your time… and the BEST part… it only cost me $1.00 !
Saving money & our Earth at the same time! Don’t forget to SHARE THIS!
What you need
- Empty Baby Formula can (remove powder with damp cloth, remove label)
- Twine (Jute twine is easiest, but cotton twine or decorative twine works just as well) – both can be found at your local dollar store!
- Hot Glue Gun
- Ribbon, or any other decorative embellishments you may want to add; also found at the dollar store, or use whatever you may have on hand!
FYI: You can also find every item I used (minus the baby food can) at the Dollar Tree! Did you know that you can order from their website and have it shipped to your home or to your closest Dollar tree store? Check it out, click the link here:
(* This is my first time editing on YouTube, so please … be nice! Ha Ha Ha!)
This DIY has so many different uses! Pencil holder, a gift for your child’s teacher, flower vase (drill a hole or two at the bottom and you can even use real flowers), utensil holder and MORE… the possibilities are endless, and it will look amazing in your home. Your friends & family will love these as gifts!
*note: Jute twine is used in the video, however, cotton twine works as well- it may just take longer as it is thinner.
