So, I have to admit… I have had a pretty sucky past couple of days! My pain has been through the roof lately and it really takes a toll on me and limits my daily activities etc. I was pretty down for a few days because of it… but God always has something good waiting to shine bright, even in the darkest days. Well, luckily, today was my day to get some of that silver lining sprinkled into my day. I was super stoked when I woke up today to one of the BEST phone notifications ever from YouTube! I mean, who doesn’t LOVE getting good news after having a rough patch?
Remember the post I wrote about 2 weeks ago? (DID YOU READ MY POST? lol) Well, I mentioned that Dylan had landed a commercial and filmed it… however I was not allowed to say much more about it. Well… TODAY IS THE DAY… it is OUT! And now… I can SHARE it with you all!
Yes, he landed a commercial for NINTENDO and he couldn’t be more stoked. Check it out!!!
You know, I find it really hard to tell Dylan that video games will never get him anywhere, his last 2 commercials have been video game related, lol. (Hence the title… Dylan does it, AGAIN) So now… I just teach try to him that although video games can bring him income (whether it’s a commercial or he makes a career in the field, like a programmer etc) school is still #1 priority to ever achieve any paid video game career. It was actually a little ironic, Dylan actually had his video games (privileges) taken away for a week right before landing this commercial! Everyone on set laughed when I mentioned it, because his sole responsibility in this “role” was to play that 3DS… all…day…. long on set and yet, he technically had them taken away at home. LOL
I am so proud of Dylan! (yes, I know… all moms would say that) He is a totally different kid on set, it’s crazy! He is typically the hyper, talkative kid in 100 different places at once but as soon as they say “we’re ready for you Dylan” he becomes super professional and puts his ALL into it. He truly loves the work and always says how much fun it is, even after spending a full day (over 8 hours) on a set. Now, I just need to keep him away from the comment section on the YouTube video, the trolls are out and they aren’t very nice.
Here’s to many more to come! (His commercials and my blogs, lol) I am looking forward to feeling much better (I am putting it out there) in order to share the many … many things I have been lining up for y’all. I am thankful for all of your patience while I have had my more difficult (immobile) days… those of you who have stuck around and still read my updates, y’all are amazing.
